You could sum up the description of JDR’s Evolution harmonica with one word, ‘precision’. It’s precisely tuned. It’s precisely fitted together for smooth comfort. It’s quality through and through. It’s loud thanks to its aluminum comb. It’s airtight and very easy to play. Available in C, A, D, G, Bb, and Low F. Even the case is nice!
The Evolution has more of an Equal Temperament on the inhale and more of a Compromised Temperament on the exhale.
▶The metal comb
The difference is that the hardness of the aluminum alloy is higher, so the sound is transmitted faster in the metal comb, and the sound is louder and clearer.
▶Cationic electroplating process
Brass cover made by Cationic electroplating process and it is resistant to dirt and easy to maintain . Not only does it have a mirror effect, but not easy to leave fingerprints.
▶Sound great
The Evolution is made of high-quality reeds and 1.2mm copper plate. The JDR factory strictly controls the internal tolerance of the harmonica to make the air flow more stable, playing more easily , and the tone better.
▶Appropriate arc design
The Evolution is designed without edges and the four corners are round. The lip-tooth contact is smooth, and it does not hurt when you move the lips quickly.
