Insert or straighten reed curves.
With this tool, it is possible to apply fine curves to reeds in order to make them closing more airtight. It is also used to straighten out excessive reed curves. The rounded tip allows you to adjust the reed curves without disassembling the reedplates of the instrument. For valving it is helpful to apply tiny amounts glue to the reedplate.
