Really like the Mars

I prefer full covers like the Bluesmaster and Session Steel so when Ron recommended trying the Mars I took a look...really liked the way the cover and comb interface...looks like it'll leave my facial hair alone. As per typical, Ron's ship times are amazing and I had the standard Mars and an aluminum comb version in my hands in no time. Love the upgraded version (in A) and really like the standard version (in G). Since they're not in the same key, it's hard to really compare them but for my purposes...well, I'm thinking of moving my lineup of Bluesmasters to second string/backup duty. A pleasure to play something that just feels good in your hands

Nice soft touch

Nice feel, comfortable in my hands. Reeds bend easily lending to a softer touch. Tone is smooth. From my experience, not as loud or brassy as some other higher priced, so not my choice for punchy blues or rock. One pleasant surprise was the lower tone in comparison with my other Am. Kinda like the difference between Tenor and alto.

I’m still unsure about the quality of this harmonica. It’s not the sellers fault but I feel like Kongsheng could do better…or maybe I just got a dud! Beautiful non the less
