This is an extremely durable acrylic adhesive that works very well for venting harmonicas (Chromatic or PT Gazell valves; cures clear, 20g).
Procedure:
Applying glue: You can use a toothpick to apply tiny amounts of this gel-like adhesive to the reed plate, or you can use the rounded tip of the valve curve tool. Hold the new valve with tweezers and guide it toward the bonding area so that it is already aligned as parallel as possible.BEFORE PRESSING IT INTO PLACE position the valve and align it, if necessary. Once pressed, the adhesive sets quickly.
Removing glue: You can remove excess adhesive from the bonding area using a flat blade. It forms a fairly firm “crust,” but this can be carefully pried off. Afterwards you can apply new glue and place a new valve again.
