It's true

What everyone says about Rockin' Ron's is true: it's a great little company. They have the best products, and they describe them clearly and accurately. I've ordered from them a bunch of times and they always get the orders right. (One time I made a mistake in an order -- they fixed my error quickly and cheerfully.) The speed with which they ship the items is downright astonishing. And their whole approach and attitude is really refreshing. So my review of this particular order confirms my whole experience with Rockin' Ron's : it's always a pleasure!

Great harps

I have a number of Special 20s and wanted to replace a few so I got this. The harmonica is great. I'm docking a star because the new plastic cases are not very good. I don't mind if the harps come in a recyclable cardboard case if the point of the case is just for shipping. That would be fine. The old zipper pouches were actually useful, and I have a bunch of those, so I'm all set on that front. But these plastic cases are not built to last, they don't go in a pocket as well as the zipper cases, and it's just plastic that will go in a landfill.

The harmonicas themselves are great. I love the combs and the sound. They do require a bit of gapping for better precision and overblows, but most harps do.

excellant harp

An excellant harp. IMHO the best harp for the money, or even more expensive harps, in terms of tone, playability, and reed life

Thanks for this review.
We sure appreciate your business.
