Reponsive, Loud, easy to play

Very responsive, loud, easy to play, and feel great. That's how I summarize the Rocket and Rocket amp harmonicas.Acoustically the Rocket may sound a little quieter because it doesn't have the holes in the sides of the covers like the Rocket. But this makes the Rocket Amp sound louder when cupped with a mic. Overall both are great harps! My new favorite.

Hohner Rocket Amp Brite Green

I ordered 3 of these from Ron and they are all the best Harps I've ever bought - Out Of The Box! I'd get a whole set, if I could find the other Keys I need ;) I like the Amp's slightly more than the standard Rocket's.
I like the closed side cover's on the Amp's even more than the Standard Rocket's as well. The standard Rocket is my go to favorite right now, but if I see the bright green rocket's in the key of A & F, I may have to get more Hohner Rocket Amp Harps :)

Like it a lot

Long story short, the Rocket Amp sounds like a Special 20. but, this is a much more comfortable harp to play. I love the slightly larger holes and the way they have rounded the tines just enough, but not too much is a real plus for my tongue blocking. Out of the box I did have to sand the draw plate and gap the reeds for better response, but once that was done the harp played great and as I mentioned it is very comfortable. So if you might want to try one while Ron's got them on sale for $50. bucks-
