Comparing them side by side, the Kongsheng Amazing 20 is better than the Hohner Special 20 or East Top 008k. It's bright, responsive, bends like butter, plays perfectly, and overblows right out of the box. It weighs 75 grams compared to the Special 20 at 60 grams. Higher quality cover plates, and overall it doesn't feel cheap like the Special 20. It's better designed as well, with rounded corners, open bell back, and side vents. I bought an A♭ and D♭, but there was a little mix-up during holiday shipping, and instead I received an E♭ and D♭. I emailed to let the team know, and within 5 minutes Ron called me to apologize and arrange expedited shipping on a replacement A♭, making sure it got to me before Christmas. Really apt name, amazing 20. Bought 2. Both play great right out of the box. All notes are in tune, all the bends are easy to hit. Really bright tone. Yep, pretty darn amazing for a harp at this price point. And as always, Ron’s service is top shelf all the way. 5 star on all points.
