High-quality octave harmonica with a built-in single-row mouthpiece

The SHAMROCK stands out with maximum durability and exceptional tuning stability, thanks to SEYDEL’s long-lasting stainless steel reeds. The rounded, single-row mouthpiece openings ensure outstanding playing comfort, accuracy and are especially gentle on the lips. It is ideal for single notes, tongue-blocking and chord playing.

Its flat design allows for a comfortable, ergonomic playing position. A high-quality effect finish gives the instrument a dynamic appearance that changes with different lighting conditions, while the traditional embossing with a distinctive 3D print on the cover plates adds a striking visual touch.

Full valving across all channels, along with a new valve material, makes the harmonica very airtight and allows for highly efficient, unprecedented response and sound projection as well as a maximum dynamic range.

The Shamrock is my lucky charm

I’ve purchased a couple octave harmonicas about 3 or so decades ago and was not at all thrilled with the way they played ie, responsiveness, volume, tone and construction (they were flimsy and fragile). When I saw the new Seydel Shamrock advertised I thought this could be different and wow, it is! It has the best sounding chords I’ve experienced on any harmonica. Blues, rock, and bluegrass are my normal choices to play with the occasional folksy ballads and classical thrown in sparingly. However, the Shamrock sounds so good with these ballads and Irish music it has opened up some new creativity in my playing. It sounds great with blues, too but the Shamrock is not built for wailing. I can see a good option for blues would be to loop blues chords with the Shamrock and layer in some wailing blues with the conventional harp. Way to go Seydel! The Shamrock is a beautiful instrument and very well built. Rockin Ron’s provided their normal magic in sales, delivery, and assistance.

Thanks for the great review, Joe.
We are so happy you like your Shamrock.
We sure appreciate your business.
