Kongsheng Lyra High Quality 12 Hole Chromatic Harmonica Includes Free USA Shipping

I have been buying me at Harmonica‘s for most of my life. I own Harmonica‘s including the Suzuki fabulous., which is essentially a $5000 Harmonica. None of these Harmonica‘s can come close to the quality of this one. I like the orchestra because it goes to G below middle C.. I presently own two of them. I did pull the first one apart as one of the high reads was blocked. Apparently it was just a speck of dirt because when I touched the reed it freed up. While observing it apart, I could see the incredible amount of quality put into this instrument. It far exceeded any other Harmonica I have ever seen. It also is incredibly responsive and powerful when needed. The slide assembly is made of stainless; as a consequence, it seems to operate by never sticking and flows like butter. It has definitely become one of my go to Harmonica‘s..

This is my second Kongsheng Lyra. They are both terrific instruments right out of the box, with amazing value for the price.
This second one, being my favorite tuning (Orchestra C) has already become my to-go harp.
Ron has done great and even reached out to make sure my order was placed correctly. Delivery was great, 1 day earlier than originally estimated, packaging was solid.
I will surely recommend both Orchestra-tuned Kongsheng Lyra and Rocking Ron Music!

The packaging was top-notch. The box could have been halfway crushed & the original box would have survived. KongSheng even adds an extra layer of protection for this harmonica. Great to know they care so much.

I have been a satisfied Rockin Rons customer for several years, with all of my purchases arriving in good working order; however, this one is the exception.
In my professional practice as a licensed therapeutic musician, I use high quality harmonicas (diatonic & chromatic) when playing for my patients.
Upon putting this instrument through it's paces, checking the tuning and sound quality on all blow & draw notes, slide in
& out, the following defects were noted:
Hole 4 blow and 9 blow (C notes) had a noticeable, annoying flutter. when I tested the 5 blow and 9 blow (identical C notes), they sounded fine. In addition, the air flow on the 12 hole blow & draw was severely restricted.
I seldom give negative reviews, but felt compelled to be blatantly honest with this one.

This harp plays well right out of the box. I didn't have to make any adjustments. I am sure the sound will improve as it goes through the break-in period. I love this orchestra tune since it basically gives me the same range as a "C" trumpet does.(similar to Seydel Saxony "Orchestra C") IMHO, this one surpasses the brand name harps in build quality, esthetics and sound. So, I ordered one more immediately. Look no further. Highly recommended. Also, the service at Rockin Rons Music is phenomenal!!!
