The CLUB STEEL is made with high-quality materials and is therefore 100% corrosion free!

  • rounded coverplates made of stainless steel
  • curved double row comb made of durable ABS-plastic, very "lip-friendly"

Full, Rich Sound

I have always like the majestic tones of a tremolo harmonica, but do not care for the vibrato. Kinda’ like enjoying jalapeños but not liking the heat; can’t really have one without the other. I finally tried an Octave Harmonica, they have been around forever.

This 40 hole Seydel (mine in D) is a beautifully crafted instrument. Very efficient and tight, though it requires more air than a typical diatonic. Tuned nearly perfectly. Fit and finish are as expected with a harp made in Germany. No pulling of my beard. The gentle curved shape add to it’s ‘old school’ appearance.

Sound great with slow Country songs, instrumental tunes, rock ballads, etc., when playing melody or chord accompaniment. It’s almost like having a low and a high harmonica, as it is not too tough to play either the lower or upper rows without playing the other octave.

I have no experience with Horner’s offerings, but this Seydel is a keeper. I would recommend it without reservation and will probably pick another couple of keys (from Rockin’ Ron’s of course!).

Pulls whiskers

I like the sound of this harmonica, but need to shave before playing it. My whiskers get stuck between the read plate and cover plate.
